Sustain Humanity Initiative (SHI) is a non-profit (non-governmental) organization formed to be service responsive to the needs of less-privileged, vulnerable Children, their families and communities. The Organization is committed to addressing society’s ongoing gaps, working shoulder to shoulder with the beneficiaries, promoting resilience and ameliorating their challenges.  SHI is committed to evidence-based programming and the promotion of good health through the provision of quality youth services to Children, their families and the communities. Promotion of sexual and reproductive health rights for adolescents, youth and women will be on SHI’s agenda for action. The interventions will center around, protection, care and support, mitigation as well as capacity building of beneficiaries and duty bearers. The Organization takes cognizance of the fact that, many Children of School going age are excluded from accessing quality education. This is because most of them are in extremely difficult circumstances rendering them vulnerable and marginalized. Therefore, SHI will support projects and activities that will address educational gaps.

Emergency and Relief (Humanitarian Support), work shall also be a focus area for SHI’s programming and activities in order to prevent, address and mitigate the impact of disasters and calamities. Economic Strengthening activities shall be implemented to promote self-reliance. In all its operations, SHI will promote good governance by ensuring fairness, transparency, responsibility and accountability to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. In view of the effects of climate change which have affected mankind globally, SHI ascribes to the national, continental and international instruments that promote Climate justice for environmental sustainability. Therefore, efforts will be made to participate and promote project activities that will help deliver the goals and objectives of such instruments.
