Driven by the vision, desires and inspiration of Mr Mike Lilema, founder and Executive Director (ED). Mr Lilema leads the team with more than 20 years of solid leadership in development and public health sector. He has expertise in Organizational leadership, Project management from initiation, execution to project closure, worked in various international and local NGOs in the Sub Saharan environment. A graduate of Business Administration, Project Management, Masters in Public health, Resource mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, PHD in development studies (planned for 2027 graduation). The team buys into this great vision and together forms a formidable governance system to realize the Vision and Mission of the Organization through programs and activities designed to satisfy the existence of the Organization. Sustain Humanity Initiative (SHI) governance upholds the SHI Vision, Mission, Partnerships, Policies and Strategy. The Organization has six (6) Board members who provide policy guidance to the senior management team and works through the hierarchy to the benefiting groups and individuals.

OUR STRUCTURE
The Board is the highest authority of SHI, which serves as a decision making authority. The Board meetings are planned for twice a year to review and adopt policies to forester organizational development. SHI board works through the Executive Management Committee that interprets policy emanating from the board and overseas the day to day decisions and affairs of the Organization. The team Comprising of the Executive Director, Heads of Programs, Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Administration/HR. The EMC convenes regularly to make joint management decisions and ensure effective coordination amongst the departments.
